The National Highway 1A running through Phu Yen in the north-south direction of 117,5 kilometers, the National Road 1D runs along the seashore connecting Song Cau district with Qui Nhon city . The National Road N025 and the inter-provincial DT 645 running in the east-west direction connecting Phu Yen with the Western Highland provinces, from which it can be linked with the Trans-Asia route through the countries in the Indo-China Peninsula. In the near future there will be a tunnel through Deo Ca pass for road transport. The Trans-Vietnam Railway in the north-south direction calling at Phu Yen at the main station in Tuy Hoa city (Km N01,197) .
Phu Yen has Tuy Hoa airport about 7 kilometers in the south of Tuy Hoa city. There is Tuy Hoa - Ho Chi Minh city route with 7 flights per week; Tuy Hoa - Ha Noi route with 3 flights per week.
